Hello and welcome! I am Steve Wenner, proud owner of Tezla, an engineering design firm. I am a degreed engineer from the Pennsylvania State University with 35 years of experience designing products for the military, industrial and commercial markets. The latter 15 years have been focused on wireless sensing and communication, including proprietary, Wi-Fi, BLE, LTE-M and LoRa technologies. Over the course of my career, I have developed a broad range of products: SMPS design and battery charging, helicopter blade energy harvesting, writing VHDL for FPGAs in video products, analog development on phased arrays just to name a few.

I launched Tezla in 2018 as I realized the industry was shifting to more of a software model base, one where hardware plays a critical yet short lived design cycle. Why should companies spend a ton of money supporting hardware engineers when well designed product can last for ten years with continual software upgrades. Tezla is built on honesty, integrity, respect and communication. I understand what it takes to meet budgets and timelines.
